These plates are from "Strange Koans for Humans and Things". It's a
combination if 13th century Illuminated Manuscript techniques and framework
with modern content. It's the story of Simon from the Hole, an overweight
cherub who is sent on a quest to recover a load of apples. These apples were
taken by the Evil Queen's minions of the Zipper Kingdom on the other side of
the book. The plates are a combination of traditional hand drawn characters
scanned and colored digitally. I am currently looking for publishers.
